2009 MBC Star Dance Battle

It was held on 25 January 2009, featuring many stars that battle each other in dance arena. Check out the dance performing battle between SS501, Super Junior, Girls Generation, Jewelry, Kara, Bigbang, 2PM, Shinee, and others.

Geun-seuk "Baby and Me" Review

At first, when I saw the movie, I didn't realize that it was originally taken from the Japanese comics book titled "The Baby and Me". It surprised me a little when I read the article here. I didn't read the comic books yet but prefer to watch it first. Jang Geun-seuk become my fav actor now for his touching role at the movie.

Han Joon-soo (Jang Geun-seuk) suddenly become a father when he found that six-month-old-baby when having some groceries at the supermarket. It happened after his parents gave an ultimatum to him. He went home with the baby because there's a note that point him as his father.

Back to his school days, the day before meet the baby, a strange girl stand in front of his school wearing a chicken clothes, that she call it her pyjamas. This girl, Kim Byul (Kim Byul) is a genius girl with some strange attitude, if we could say so. She's Joon-soo classmate and help him to babysitting Woo-ram, the baby.

On the other day, Joon-soo tries to abandoned the baby but it won't work. Finally, he tries to taking care of Woo-ram the way he could. He taking the baby at schools, find a job, or even trying to find certificated breast-milk woman. It's about how he deals the situations.

One day, the truth revealed. Woo-ram real father was his best friend. Joon-soo really gets mad at him but he could n't taking away his feeling so fast. He really in love with the baby. But, he's got to make a choices.

What will happened with the baby? Is Joon-soo trying to keep him as 'his son'? Or something?

If you love some touching moments with the baby, you should've see it. I love Geun-seuk role here. His interaction with the baby isn't fake.
He's such a great actor in such a great movie. I did not regret it after watch.

The Era of Vampire Will Come

Film paling fenomenal di penghujung tahun 2008. Tiga hari sejak pemutaran perdananya, pada tanggal 21 November di AS, film ini sudah digadang-gadang akan menorehkan sukses besar. Benar saja, hingga hari Minggu kemarin, Twilight sudah membukukan rekor USD 35 juta hanya untuk di Amerika saja. Dan itu berarti hampir 98% keuntungan sudah diraup dimana budget film ini berkisar USD 37 juta.

Film adaptasi novel populer karya Stephenie Meyer yang berjudul sama ini dibintangi oleh Kristen Steward sebagai Isabella Swan yang diceritakan jatuh cinta pada seorang vampir rupawan yang diperankan oleh Robert Pattinson sebagai Edward Cullen. Latar belakang mereka yang sama sekali berbeda bukan halangan bagi dua hati itu itu menyatu. Namun, perbedaan itu pula yang mengundang konflik dalam hubungan manusia - vampir mereka.

Rencananya, sekuel dari Twilight, yang juga sekuel dari novel dengan judul sama, New Moon dan disusul dengan Eclipse juga akan memulai proses syutingnya. Dan kemungkinan besar juga akan dipasang bintang yang sama.

Jadwal premiere untuk Twilight dengan sendirinya mengalami beberapa perubahan, namun sudah dipastikan tanggal 21 November kemarin dirilis di AS. Sedangkan untuk beberapa negara, Twilight akan dirilis dalam waktu yang hampir mendekati. Untuk di Indonesia sendiri, yang pada awalnya direncanakan sekitar 22 - 23 Desember, akan dirilis pada tanggal 5 Desember mendatang. Mudah-mudahan tidak ada perubahan setelah ini.

Sebegitu fenomenalnya film ini, menurut kabar yang saia dengar, seri terbaru Harry Potter yang pada awalnya akan rilis pada akhir tahun ini memundurkan jadwal rilisnya menjadi sekitar pertengahan tahun 2009 mendatang. Sedangkan dua film lain yang dirilis lebih dulu dari Twilight, yaitu Indiana Jones dan sekuel James Bond, Quantum of Solace, tidak mendapatkan pembukaan yang menggembirakan. Kedua film tersebut hanya meraup USD 20 juta (setara Rp 242 miliar) pada pemutaran perdana, sedangkan Twilight meraup USD 35 juta (setara Rp 424 miliar) dimana seperlimanya yaitu USD 7 juta (setara Rp 84,7 miliar) diperoleh pada pemutaran midnight Jumat lalu.

Dengan angka fantastis yang diperoleh untuk kawasan Amerika saja, berapa besar keuntungan yang akan diraih bila film tersebut dirilis di berbagai belahan dunia, termasuk Indonesia? Sebuah angka yang banyak tentunya ...
